Scott Carey is a seasoned construction professional with over two decades of hands-on experience in the industry. He began his career in 2004 as a laborer and quickly discovered a deep passion for building. This drive led him to complete a four-year carpentry trade program, laying the foundation for a lifelong career in construction.
To further enhance his skills and leadership abilities, Scott completed courses in public speaking, project scheduling, and civil engineering at Pellissippi State Community College. He also participated in numerous leadership development programs through the Associated General Contractors (AGC). His commitment to growth and excellence helped him quickly rise through the ranks, eventually taking on the role of Assistant Superintendent and Carpenter Foreman for the largest construction company in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Scott has a diverse portfolio that includes the construction of churches, schools, amenity centers, high-end tenant buildouts, restaurants, veterinary hospitals, sorority houses, beautification projects, and baseball fields. His notable projects include the Sacred Heart Cathedral and the John Brock Law Firm in Knoxville, as well as multiple locations for the Veterinary Emergency Group in San Francisco, Jacksonville, Phoenix, Cary, and Indianapolis. He also played a key role in the Cal Ripken Experience in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys fishing, kayaking, hiking, and spending quality time with his family.
